A few years ago, in the van on the way to Western Europe, we put on an old used CD to pass the time. On it we heard the Sevdah song “S one strane Plive.” In that moment, we had the idea to record a documentary about our wanderings around the world, our Sevdah, and the people we met along the way.
Thanks to this song we have dreamed and still dream. It will always be the force that
fuels our imaginations and calms our souls.
With a little help from technology, today we are sharing a slightly different version of this song… each sending their part from their own city, their own creative corner, note by note, word by word.
